KSDMA: Essential Tool for Disaster Assessment
KSDMA is a free Android application designed for the Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) during monsoon disasters in Karnataka. This app specifically aids field officials in assessing and documenting damages caused by such disasters. With features that allow users to geo-tag locations and upload photographs, KSDMA focuses on recording damage to critical public infrastructure including Anganwadi centres, primary health centres (PHCs), schools, and various road types.
The application streamlines the process of damage assessment by providing a user-friendly interface for field officials to capture and report data effectively. KSDMA plays a crucial role in enhancing the response to monsoon-related disasters, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and documented in a timely manner. This helps in better planning and resource allocation for recovery efforts.
